Founded in 1966 by the late missionary Pr. J. Richard Denham Jr (1927-2013) and his wife Pearl Armen Denham (1927-2016), Fiel Ministries was established with a clear purpose: to strengthen the church through faithful biblical teaching.
Our mission is to equip Portuguese-speaking pastors, leaders, and churches worldwide with reliable biblical resources that proclaim the glorious doctrines of God’s grace.
Our journey began with the publication of "O Leitor Cristão" magazine and the book "O Ide é com Você", but our reach has expanded far beyond. In 1985, we launched the Fiel Conference for Pastors and Leaders, which later extended beyond Brazil to Mozambique (since 2000), Portugal (since 2001), and Angola (beginning in 2024). We also host conferences for university-age youth (since 2003) and women (since 2016), with the latter being the fastest-growing in Brazil.
As a teaching ministry, we continually innovate to expand our impact. Our work includes publications in multiple formats(print, ebooks, and audiobooks), a theological training platform with over 100 online courses, and the Voltemos ao Evangelho blog, which provides thousands of free devotional and theological resources.
Fiel Ministries was a pioneer in Brazil in utilizing digital tools to create an integrated ecosystem that unifies our ministry areas and fosters a thriving online community. Through digital platforms and social media, we reach a growing audience, providing resources that not only strengthen individual believers but also promote the spiritual health of churches.
We believe that the advancement of Christ’s kingdom thrives on collaboration. That’s why we maintain strategic partnerships with ministries such as Desiring God, Ligonier Ministries, Truth for Life, 9Marks, Grace to You, Crossway, Martin Bucer Seminary (Brazil and Portugal), Charles Spurgeon Seminary, and Andrew Jumper Presbyterian Graduate Center, among others. In addition to working together on ministry initiatives, we also joyfully promote their excellent resources to the expanding Portuguese-speaking Christian community worldwide.

As a confessional organization, we uphold the Statement of Faith of The Gospel Coalition and the Affirmations and Denials of Together for the Gospel. Additionally, we subscribe to the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith, which guides our publishing and teaching ministry.
